These terms cover how you use Fintir — the app, your account, and the personalized rewards and insights that come with it. We've written them to be read, not just agreed to. The short version is below; the detail follows.
The app, the intelligence, and the rewards. The actual banking is provided by a licensed EMI partner that safeguards your money.
No subscription, and any fee we charge is at cost. The full fee list is always available in-app before you're charged.
Partner-funded extras tailored to you. They can change or expire, and aren't cash — but they're never paid for with your data.
Close your account whenever you like. We'll only ever suspend one for a genuine reason — a breach, or a legal duty.
These terms are an agreement between you and [Fintir legal entity name, company number and registered address] ("Fintir", "we", "us") for your use of the Fintir app and services. By creating an account or using Fintir, you agree to them. If you don't agree, please don't use Fintir.
Some things are governed by additional terms: your Privacy notice, and — because the regulated banking is provided by our EMI partner — that partner's own account terms. Where those partner terms specifically govern the e-money service, they take precedence over these for that service.
Fintir provides the app, the personalized intelligence, and the rewards and insights layer. The banking — holding your money, the account, cards and payments — is provided by [EMI partner name], a licensed European e-money institution, which safeguards customer funds under EU e-money regulations.
Your money held as e-money is safeguarded, not a bank deposit — it isn't covered by a deposit-guarantee scheme, and it doesn't earn interest. Safeguarding means it's held separately and protected if anything happens to us or the partner.
There's no subscription to use Fintir, and any fee we do charge is at cost — we don't mark fees up or profit from them. The current fee list is always shown in the app, and you'll see any applicable fee before you confirm a transaction. The full schedule lives at [link to fee schedule].

If you found a security issue, please tell us at security@fintir.io rather than testing it against live accounts.
How we handle your data is set out in full in our Privacy notice. The short version, which is also a promise in these terms: we use your data to give you value, and we never sell it.
We're building Fintir and will keep improving it, so features may change, launch or be retired over time. We aim for the service to be available and reliable, but we can't promise it will never be interrupted for maintenance or reasons outside our control.
We'll provide Fintir with reasonable care and skill. To the extent the law allows, we're not liable for losses we couldn't reasonably foresee or that weren't caused by us. Nothing in these terms limits any rights you have under consumer or financial-services law that can't be excluded — and this section never limits liability for things it's unlawful to limit.
You can close your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account where we have a genuine reason — for example a breach of these terms, suspected fraud, or a legal or regulatory requirement — and we'll tell you where we're allowed to. If your account closes, any remaining balance is returned to you, subject to the checks we're required to run.
If something's wrong, tell us at complaints@fintir.io and we'll work to put it right. If we can't resolve it, you may be able to refer it to [the relevant ombudsman / dispute-resolution body] — details will be provided here before launch.
These terms are governed by the laws of [governing jurisdiction]. If we change them, we'll update the date above and, for anything material, tell you directly so you have a chance to review. Continuing to use Fintir after a change means you accept the updated terms.
